Principles of Engineering 273

This is a survey course that exposes students to various areas of engineering and physics. Students will apply their knowledge to solve engineering design problems with a large focus placed on the use of VEX Robotics and RobotC programming. Students will also explore topics related to energy sources and applications, manufacturing, fluid power, statics, kinematics and civil engineering. This course places a strong emphasis on collaboration and communication which are essential skills for all future engineering students. At the end of the year, students will have an opportunity to earn college credit through PLTW.
