Program Overview:

The GBS Engineering community was revamped and enhanced for the 2013-14 school year to include Project Lead the Way.  New for the 2014-15 year are state-of-the-art remodeled classrooms, a new Makerspace, and a partnership with science with the development of the Science and Engineering Learning Community!  During the 2015-16 school year, the Career and Technical Education department will offer the Project Lead the Way (PLTW) courses Introduction to Engineering Design, Principles of Engineering, Digital Electronics, Civil Engineering and Architecture, and Engineering Design and Development.  In addition to these courses, there is an Engineering Club and a Society of Women Engineers, that students can participate in that will provide them with additional engineering opportunities.
